Re: fl. homestead

In Florida a person's homestead is almost always exempt from creditors of the owner. If you move out and it is no longer your home, it loses that protection. Also, any real property in Florida which you and your wife take title to as "tenants by the entirety" is exempt from YOUR creditors and HER creditors - meaning that they would have to obtain a judgment against BOTH of you to have a lien on that property.
