Foreclosed home liability
Who is libel for injuries sustained in
an abandoned home in foreclosure.
For instance in a home with a pool
enclosed in a lanai, if someone falls in
or injures themselves. Owners filed
bankruptcy to stop sale of house and
have left the property.

Up until the point at which the deed is transferred to a new owner (usually by a sale at the courthouse), the house remains with the original owner.
