foreclosure and taxes

My now hasband purchased a home a few years ago before we were married. THe house it now going into foreclosure however, in Florid it could take a long time. Ita already been over a year. Anyhow, I know that I am not affected since this happened prior to me however, I was wondering if it was wise to file for our taxes together. Will they come after me and our money at that point? Or can nothing happen? I need advice. Also, his paystub still say single. Should he change it to married??? Please help.

It's possible that the tax refund could be seized, including your portion, so you may want to speak with an attorney or accountant about filing separately.
