Home sold after contact expired

I had a six month contact with a realtor to sell my mobile home. The contact ended on 11/20/01, yet on 11/23/01 he showed my home and now we are in the process of hopefully selling. Yet the realtor still expects his full comission, but my biggest problem is that he never showed the home during the contact. But it seems that as soon as the contact ended he found a buyer. Do I still owe him the full comission?

You are both bound by the terms of the contract.

If you want to stand on that principle, you may have to wait a while longer to sell your home. I suggest that you appreciate the agent's efforts and close with his buyer.
