Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Hello. Hope this finds you safe. It's been 45+ days since my husband and I moved out of our rental which we were given 30 days to leave the owners via a written notice by an attorney. They have not returned our $2500 deposit which we really need during this time. How can we pursue this without costly fees on our end?

Failure to impose a lien within 30 days means you have an absolute right to return of the deposit AND an entitlement to fees. Hire a lawyer to pursue it and the landlord pays it.
