Landlord trying to use blackmail to raise rent
My landlord wants to raise our rent almost 300 per month, we have only lived in the house for 2 months now. The lease we signed was for 1 year, and had a specific price. However, the lease also states only 3 roomates, and we have 4. He did tell me verbally that i could have 4. Do I have any leverage? Or am i at fault for not having him ammend the lease?

The written lease controls. Try to work it out and get it in writing.

The lease controls. Does the lease say the leasee and no more than 3 roommates?
