Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Listing agent submitted docs late...now we lost the house.

We had a foreclosure purchase contract that was due to expire on 6/01/09. My realtor submitted our extension request to the listing agent on 5/29/09. The listing agent didn't submit the request to the bank until almost 2 weeks after the contract expired. At this point it was too late. The bank had already decided to put the house back on the market and accept another offer. Is there any legal action that can be taken? Thank you.

At the very least you can file a complaint with the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC). They are the governing body that regulates Florida Realtors.
