Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Quit Claim Confusion

In the process of purchasing a home, the husband quit claimed his interest to me as he intended on being out of town during closing. Now the title company states he cannot do this and he must appear at closing. Another title company instructed us to have him quit claim the property to me and have it recorded after closing. Since he is unavailable for closing what are our options?
