Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Real Estate Contract

I am in the process of buying my house, which was owner financed. But I noticed discrepincies in the contract. Like it states that Imy property is located in Columbia County. But I live in Suwannee County and that my home is a 1989 Fleetwood, But it is a 1988 Homes of Merrit. Also the ID#s dont match the home. I think I may be paying for something I should not be. Do I Have a case and/or what should I do? I have a ready given him 23000.00

Re: Real Estate Contract

See a lawyer immediately. Never give money to a Seller without a lawyer's advice. Are you buying the mobile home AND the land? If so, there should be a deed and title search for your lawyer to review. The mobile home title should match the mobile home being sold. Have you seen the title? What kind of documentation did you receive before you gave the Seller money?

I also can't believe you handed over 23k without involving an attorney. Mr. Georges is correct, you may have big problems now and need an attorney asap.
