retalitory landlords
on 8-5-99 i recieved a call from my landlord on my answering machine stating that if i was not heard from that very same daythat i was going to get evicted from my home. can she threaten to do that because i was unable to reply?

She can threaten but cannot evict you until she complies with the statutes relating to evictions. I suggest you seek counsel. If you wish call me at 305-940-8080.
