I am being sued for the foreclosure of a property I sold 3 years ago

I am not sure why I a defendent on a foreclosure case for the house I sold 3 years ago. the name of the new buyer is in the paper, buy my name is also included. My load for the house was paid in full to my mortgage company when I sold it. PLEASE HELP

Hard to say why you would still be named on the complaint unless you are still somehow on the deed.

You should respond to the complaint and inform the court that you are no longer responsible for the debt owed on the home. If you have a satisfaction of mortgage you should submit a copy of that document with your response.

You did not indicate where in Florida you are, but you should consult an attorney to review the complaint and provide a proper response on your behalf. If you truly have no interest in the fight, it should be done rather economically.
