Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Florida

Can an employee who filed a sexual harassment complaint get a copy of the invest

I filed a sexual harassment complaint against a fellow employee with my employer. He was suspended and disciplined following an investigation. He was also instructed not to speak to me unless it's business related. This harassment had been going on for about 4 years. Recently he has started to make comments about me being a lesbian to other employees. I did not keep any copies of my complaint. Can I get copies from the employer or file a lawsuit without them?

You can request a copy of the complaint that you filed with the company and they should give it to you. I wouldn't tell them why though because they might refuse to give it to you to protect themselves. If they do refuse find a good attorney who can file the lawsuit for you and then he can subpeona the complaint from the company later. If you have any questions please let me know.
