Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Florida

I told my manager I was being sexually harassed and he fired me out of retaliation. The HR department has done nothing. What should I do?

1) The Florida Civil Rights Act prohibits employment practices that discriminate on the basis of sex or marital status (FL Stat. Sec. 760.01 et seq.)

2) Sexual harassment is considered a form of unlawful sex discrimination. The Act covers public and private employers with 15 or more employees.

3) Complain to the concerned officials immediately. an aggrieved employee to file a sexual harassment claim, that employee must file the claim with the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) and with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) within a statutorily prescribed period.
