Legal Question in Tax Law in Florida

I've installed Waterless Grass in my entire back yard and am told it's tax deductible, however my income is not sufficient to file state/federal tax returns. How can I recoup some of my costs? This grass requires no water, fertilizers, chemicals, etc. Thanks for your answers/suggestions.

You cannot recoop your costs. I guess you could claim it as a tax deduction, but if you don't file taxes anyway, the issue is moot.

Nice plastic grass you have there? Much more eco-friendly? Good for you. I personally have a big problem with artificial materials being used, even if they are recycled, because living plant life in the soil provides so much more long-term benefit. I would rather not water my grass and have it all brown than plow it all out and put in astro-turf. That's just my preference.

Do you know that plastic produces toxic gas when it heats, and in summers when we are at 95+ degrees, plastic out in the sun is one big gas-smellin-fume-puffin-chemical-spewin-hunk-o-toxin in the yard? Nice place for your kids or pets to play?

Put in gravel or sand if you don't want to deal with the yard.
