Legal Question in Tax Law in Florida

I was recently divorced (this week) and I would like to know if I HAVE to file my 2009 taxes with my Ex? We always filed married jointly. Also I chose to retain my maiden name, but have not changed it yet, do I need to do that before I file taxes or can I file with my married name since my legal documents are still in my married name. Thank you!

You never were required to file joint taxes. You can file your own individual taxes. You must file under your legal name, which may be your married name.
