child support

was arrested recently for license suspended saying child support payments are not being paid. showed judge pay stubs where payment is being taken out & have been for the last year. judge gave me a court date & told me to bring pay stubs with me & was let out on own recognance. what do I need to do as far as my drivers license in case I get stopped again & it shows expired until court date to prove my innocence.

You should hire an attorney. The DL suspension is coming from and Administrative Order through the DOR. If their records show you are delinquent in support, they will not release your license until you straighten out the discrepency. In the meantime, an attorney may be able to help you secure a restricted license that will allow you to drive for business purposes. Showing the traffic court judge proof of payment may help resolve that specific case, but the traffic court judge can not reinstate your license or correct DOR's records.
