Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

On June 8th I was involved in a serious car accident that I believe I was held at fault for. It has all been handled by insurance and I think everything is okay. I was given a ticket for improper left turn. The officer said I should plead not guilt because 90% of the time the witnesses don't show up and the case is dismissed. My concern is that before I believe I could have paid the fine and elected traffic school. In this case I don't know if traffic school will be allowed. I have a good driving history, haven't had a ticket in several years and I hope that helps. My question is about points on my license if I am found guilty. I saw on a Florida DMV website that you receive 4 points for a moving violation (non speeding) resulting in a crash. I assume that is the heading that I come in under. However, I am unsure. On another website they mention collision resulting from a moving violation, 4 points. I assume this is the same thing. Could I be given more than 4 point for this one infraction? I'm hoping if found guilty that the judge will allow for traffic school but if not would I be looking at 4 points or perhaps more?

If you want to fight this then you need to hire an attorney instead of looking for answers on a forum where the attorney knows nothing about your case. Hiring an attorney is much cheaper than an insurance hike.
