Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

i got pulled over for an expired tag, however my tag had been renewed online,2 days previous and i didnt get the sticker to put on my car yet, anyways as the officer pulled me over he said "it reeks of marijuana in your car, would you have any objections to me searching the car" I said no, he went in and found 3 grams of cannabis, how do i go about having this charge dismissed, I have never been charged with possession of cannabis before and I want to know what I need to do to have this charge dismissed.

If you gave the officer permission to search the vehicle and he found the cannabis, the only thing you can do is hire a criminal attorney to assist you. The charge will likely not be dismissed. I am going on the assumption that the cannabis was yours. If this is not the case, it was still in your vehicle, thus it is presumed to be yours.
