Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

deceased co-representitive

My grandmother left my father and my uncle as co-representitives. My father in the mean time had passed away. Would that leave my uncle sole representitive or would that pass along to his wife who he was married to him at the time of his death and had not remarried at the time of my grandmothers death or to me?

Re: deceased co-representitive

I would first check the will to see if your grandmother requested an alternative PR be appointed if your father was unable to serve. Of course if a majority of heirs were uncomfortable with your uncle serving as sole PR, they could petition the court to appoint a co-PR of their choice.
