Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My ex-husband passed away unexpectedly. There was no will. Can his widow give his car that is in his name ONLY to her son? (his stepson) He has 3 biological children. I thought that things like that would have to go through pobate first.

Yes. The car is an exempt asset that the widow gets, and there is an exception to the probate laws dealing with cars.
