Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Financial obligation of children for deceased parent

Are the children of majority age personally responsible for paying the debts (credit card, installment loans, etc.) of a deceased parent if the debts are in the deceased's name only, and there is a Living Trust and Will, and not enough money in the estate to pay them?

No. Depending on the facts, even a spouse may not be liable for debts of the deceased. Regarding specific options and procedures, you are advised to consult with a probate attorney.
