Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Grandmother died Nov 2010 in hernando county,fl...There was a will, will hasn't been sent to probate. Executor is refusing to submit to court, or contact the beneficiers/heirs...Is there anything that can be done without a lawyer? There was a house involved, as well as life insurance... no spouse, only one living adult child, and one deceased adult child...

Florida law requires a person in possession of a will to file the will in probate. To actually compel this person to follow the law, a court order will be needed.

Adding to Mr. Bryant, you would find it extremely difficult to proceed as a beneficiary without an attorney for this situation.
