Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I have a house in Florida which is in my name and the name of the lady I was with when I bought the house. We aren't legally married and now I live in another state and the lady lives in the house which I paid for completely and remodeled entirely with my time and money. Can she transfer her interest in the home to her heirs or, if she dies before me, does the house simply become solely my property?

She owns half the house according to the deed? She owns half the house according to the law, and can do what she wants with it. You could prove something different, but it takes some solid proof.

If you put her name on it, then should could sell her half interest. However, who would want to buy a half interest with a stranger?
