Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Hello, my name is Justin. My mother set up a trust for me when she fell ill, set to be turned over to me at 30. I turn 30 later this month, and I'm trying to find out what needs to be done from a legal aspect when the money is turned over to me. My uncle has been the trustee and handled the money up to this point, and we're just not sure what documents, if any, that we need showing that he no longer handles the affairs of the trust. Thank you for your time

You need to seek an attorney to help with the termination of the trust. Advising this way is not adequate.

The trust automatically terminates upon the you turning 30 and the funds distributed to you. If you are in doubt about his financing capabilities, I would ask for a final accounting.
