can i leave my husband out of the will legally without causing problems after I die?

Because a spouse has certain legal rights relating to marital property,

leaving the spouse out of the will may be a wasted effort and create an

ineffectual will. May be best to consider those rights in the drafting of

a will.

No. A spouse cannot be disinherited in Fla. The court will give him his intestate share (as if there was no will).
