Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Hello,

I recently had an aunt who passed away. She left my cousins and I money in a trust. However, we won't receive the money until we turn 25 years old. I am currently 22 years old, attending college, married with 2 children, and I own a home. Is there any way I can get the money sooner?

No, not normally. However, there might be a provision in the trust granting the Trustee to provide some money. You need to read the Trust Agreement to find out.

It is possible that you could receive some money if the trust designates that you could have funds for help in your education. Have you read the trust and if not, perhaps get an attorney to interpret it for you.
