Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

sentence reduction

A friend of my got out of jail, then he violated his probation, for the first time. The judge really had it out for him because instead of possible reinstating him he just asked the state attorney what they wanted to give him so they gave him the maximum. 5 years in prison, but there was a guy who was on probation for armed robbery and violated his probation for the second time and they reinstated him. Is there anyway to get a new judge to try to shorten his sentence? or is there anyway to go around this judges sentence?

Re: sentence reduction

He is out of luck. Violation of probation gives lots of leeway to judge.
