sueing over a Pay on Death Account

Has there ever been a case in Florida where a person sued someone for money they received from a Pay on Death Account. Especially when there were 4 other siblings who didn't receive anything? If so what was the outcome of the case?

Re: sueing over a Pay on Death Account

If there was some fraud, such as the sibling assisting your parent in having their name placed on the account when your parent did not have capacity or if you could show your parent did this to avoid probate and wanted the sibling who received the funds to share them, you might have reason to object. That said, there is nothing illegal about a parent leaving their estate to only one child. I suggest you speak with an attorney who could review all the facts.
