Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

A co-worker was injured on the job; our boss insisted the co-worker go to the emergency room but made sure she clocked out first. Was that correct procedure?

Yes, if the co-worker turns out to be disabled for at least 21 days, she will receive workers' compensation benefits dating back to the time she clocked out.
