Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

My husband has been working overseas for the past yr has substained a injury and was sent home per oversea dr for therapy he hurt himself in 12/09 but due to consistent lifting he aggravated the situation was evaluated by a dr overseas and sent home for further care. By the time he made it home he had already bee denied care cause he had not contacted them since he first reported the injury. He contacted them within the first week of retuning home he was interviewed 2 weeks later to see in their opinion was he hurt over there or somewhere else then he was set up with an appt for 2 weeks after that. His case is still being reviewed to see if they feel he was injured overseas even though he just had his initial first visit with the dr on 05/25/10. He has not receive any compensation he has not been placed on restriction but his job is in Iraq. He still has to have a mri done on his shoulders they are only treating him for his neck so far. He receive a letter stating that he would lose his job if he had not returned by March 25th 2010 which how could he when he hasnt received any care yet. How long can they hold his case without paying him even though they are treating him now and can he really lose his job because of this. We are financially strapped because we are living off of savings since he got home . Dont know what to do.

Why are you waiting to get a lawyer? You are being penny wise and pound foolish. We comp lawyers do not charge until the case is resolve and in this case the carrier would seem to owe the fees. See www.FloridaPersonalInjuryTrialLawyer.com
