Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Is there a law that ables me to be able to return to the same position after my surgery through work comp. And what do I do if I return and they have already hired someone in my position and want let me do what I was previously doing or moved me and cut my hours?

The Florida Workers' Compensation law does not require your employer to return you to work, at your old job, with the same salary and benefits. There may be other laws than might impact your rights in regard to return to work, but that requires a detailed analysis of all the facts regarding your case. I suggest you consult an attorney experienced in these matters, to get a more accurate opinion as to the specific rights you have under the various laws that impact your situation.
