Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I was treated for injuries on duty and was recently told by workers comp that they were not covering the payment. Within a week of being notified that they would not pay, I received a bill for that outstanding payment from a collections agency. What can I do to dispute the fact that it should not be on my credit due to workers comp taking months to decide whether or not they were paying the bills?

More information is needed. why was the bill denied by w.c? did you have an accident? did they determine that the accident was not the major contributing cause of the injuries? expenses to rule out charges are typically payable by the wc carrier even if they ultimately deny the injuries being related. Seek some legal guidance.
