Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I worked for a company for almost a year in orlando, fl and had a workers comp injury. I continued light duty but as soon as my schedule changed they took me off the schedule and then claimed i didn't show up to work so they fired me. I entered a settlement that has not been settled yet so are they obligated to rehire me or are there laws that say they have to pay me an extra amount of future work since i was fired?

You have an attorney ? The attorney should be asked. You had a settlement but it never was completed ? Have you reached mmi? Max medical improvement ? If not you may still have temporary benefits you are entitled to while on limited duty. How much were you earning when fired ? Did you pursue a wrongful termination case ?
