Re: workers compensation.

I am not sure what they had you sign but they try to get you to sign medical releases, fraud statements and provide a recorded statement. You are entitled to lost wage benefits if the doctor says you cannot work at all- or light duty benefits if the doctor says you can work but have restrictions and the employer does not have work for you within your restrictions. You are entitled to mileage reimbursement to and from your medical appointments including physical therapy etc... you are entitled to a one time change in doctor if you are not happy with the doctor you currently have. If the claim is govnered by managed care you are entitled to select your PCP and a lot of time the insurance carrier will not tell you about that. I strongly recommend you consult an attorney for additional advise. I would not let a nurse case manager attend your doctor's appointments with you and would advise you against providing a recorded statement if you have not done so already.
