Legal Question in Immigration Law in France

name error on an airline ticket

my son, a 21 year old student, secured airfare with

an on-line internet travel company. he would like to

travel to paris,france. when he got the ticket, the name

on the ticket is his first name repeated twice and no

last name. he does not have such a passport. the

company refuses to reissue a ticket even though it is an

obvious mistake

the airline said that they did not get any call to the right

department who could give permission for such a ticket

reissue. what can i do....will a name affadavit work for

air flight. how can i get the company to reissue the

ticket with the correct name.

I am afraid I cannot be of much help on this. I would think he must continue to struggle to explain to the on-line travel company and the airline to get them to re-issue the ticket. He is not going to be able to travel with a ticket which does not correspond to the name on his passport.
