Legal Question in Administrative Law in Georgia

Do you have to see your employer's doctor if they fail to get you better?

I have seen my employer's doctors for the last 4 months and they continue not to get me better. The MRI I received wasn't even for the injured shoulder. Their doctors don't know what they are doing and I would now like to see my doctor. Will Workers Comp still cover it seeing that their doctors have not succeeded?

This is a common complaint. Actually things can get worse. The worker's comp insurer-selected doctor sometimes will release the injured employee to go back to work when he/she clearly is not able to do so. They know which side of the bread the butter is on. The worker has a right to change physicians. That is something, as a practicle matter, that is best done by a worker' comp lawyer for the employee.
