Legal Question in Administrative Law in Georgia

Lived w/son - gave him 75k to invest for us - in 2003 the acct. grew to 131k. he asked us to move out

but made mtg pyments for 7.5 years out of that account which he did not make joint. He suddenly

and w/o notice stopped pymts 8/01/11. bank called 8/15 to advise. we never could access the

acct. (we are the owners) so this came as a shock. Our son won't communicate with us but we

have address for him and he won't accept our letters. Our daughter is in cohoots w/ him as she

was receiving the bank stmts each month - not us as I tried to get a year ago but CitiBank gave

me the run around. To resolve, I think an attorney letter to my son and daughter would shake them

up enough to give the information (records) of Smith-Barney stock account and all mtg pymts

made from that. I am a sr citizen and can't afford an expensive attorney so I need to know what

I can do.

What loan paperwork do you have where they promised to repay you? That is where the answer lies and you omitted that information. You have only the rights you created in that agreement.
