Legal Question in Administrative Law in Georgia

Is it possible for a service company to add contract term to back of the bill without explicitly obtaining my consent? 6 months back, my garbage collection company quietly added a 12 month contract notice to the back of the bill, without asking for my approval. I have been using this company for 2 years completely at will (No contract). I called them to cancel the service for some different reason, and they are asking for 6 months fee as per the notice on the back of the bill. I never signed such contract. Don't they need to show some proof that I agreed to such notice? Can simply paying your bill without seeing this notice on back be considered a proof of my consent? Any guidance will be much appreciated.

It may or may not be legal depending on what your paperwork says. Since no one here has seen it, no one here can answer you.
