My son had $ 300.00 dollars in the bank he also had direct deposit of his wedges.through a big named, bank, and then a doctor's attorney's put a hold on his account. Then the bank, not only took the $ 300.00 dollars he had in the bank, but they , of they'er own free will decided to pay the bank the entire $ 5,000.00 dollars the doctor's attorney's claimed he owed. And then the bank, now claims that my son owes them, the $ 5.000.00 and now they are suing him, and they closed his account. Please tell me was this legal. Can a bank take money you don't have in your account, pay a huge bill, and then sue, you for money you didn't have.

Maybe, but it is impossible to determine from your post. You mention wages (presumably what you meant by "wedges") in addition to the $300, but don't provide details on that. You need to be much more precise about what happened with the account, and tell the whole story.
