Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

My contracing company has lawsits, and i am personal garenty. I am about to lose all of the houses that the company has built that would have paid the suits off. Now that I dont hane the company any more, what will happen with the law suits. Can I keep my house? I have alot of equity in it. Should I fill bankrupt or try to ride it out now?Please help what do I do?

Without seeing all your numbers I can't advise you, but if you "ride it out" and get sued, your creditors are free to pursue your home and other assets. A bankruptcy may help, and, if your equity is too big, a chpater 13 might be a possibility.
