Providing specific advice on how to respond to an existing lawsuit (which we can't see and know virtually nothing about) is beyond the scope of this forum. There is only one good answer - see a lawyer well in advance of the deadline for filing answer.

I totally agree with Mr. Riddle. Also keep in mind that ordinarily, you must file a response within 30 days of service of the summons and complaint.
