Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I am from Belgium and via an LLC,I have invested 100000 euro(my savings) in a real estate firm(LLC) via a promisory note on 1 jan 2016.

They claimed to pay an intrest of 8% a year, paid every six months.

In August 2016, I received a first payment of 4% .

When I contacted them in 2017 for the second payment, they told me that they have some troubles because their financial manager was murdered.

They propose a refund within a few months.Until now I have nothing received and they always find an excuse to postpone everything.

How can I get my money back without to many costs.

I would recommend having an attorney who is located in their area (or where the note dictates litigation would take place) send them a demand letter for the remaining amounts. If they do not respond positively, discuss with the attorney whether it makes sense to take further action.
