Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

georgia partnership law

If I am Limited Partner in a legal Georgia partnership can the General Partner sue me in his county or must he sues me in my county? The partnership papers are filed in Fulton County, but I have never been to Fulton County to conduct any partnership business..... The two properties for which I have interest in the partnership are in Hall and Carroll Counties, not Fulton....

Re: georgia partnership law

It is highly probable that the partnership papers will determine where he may legally sue. In addition, generally, the defendant's county of residence is also proper, as well as the location of real property at issue.
