Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

New to online business

I'm interested setting up a website to drop ship home decor items to consumers. I have registered the domain and have wholesalers list ready to go. I'm very new to entire business legal matters. I do not know where and what is the next step to start the legal process. Also don't know if an actual attorney would write all the policy or I am responsible for it. I'm in state of GA..wants to do business online.

Re: New to online business

I would recommend incorporating either an S-corp or an LLC in Georgia before your company is up and running. This will provide liability protection and some tax advantages. You will need to register the new business with the Secretary of State and have the proper organizational documentation drafted up. Please do not try and incorporate by yourself unless you have specific experience doing so (which it sounds like you don't). I have seen many problems with small businesses that try and do it themselves at first and run into a lot of trouble down the road, and far down the road.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. My contact information is below. Thank you.
