Receipts/ Proof of Purchase

Where can I find the law that requires that businesses to provide receipts to customers?

I need the exact wording.

You can find the laws in various sources, some searcheable, by googling "Official Code of Georgia," "laws requiring reciepts," etc. I do not believe you will find a law requiring reciepts.

There is no specific law that requires receipts. Is it up to the business to keep appropriate records in general and for customer relations.
