Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I received a "Notice of Trial" letter listing me as a defendant from Fulton County (Georgia) Magistrate Court but I have not been served summons or complaint. What should I do?

Obviously you have been sued and perhaps have missed critical deadlines, so get off the internet and either go to the clerk's office yourself and check the file, or get a lawyer ASAP to do it.

You should have an attorney appear at the trial and put forth the defense that you were not served. If you show up personally, they will probably serve you there.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. The link to my contact information is below. Thank you.
