I retired in 2002 and at that time I had a profit sharing program that I did not receive. is there a time limit in Georgia to collect the profit I earned?

Yes, it is called a statute of limitation. But these are very fact sensitive regarding both which statute applies and when the clock starts, so you should speak with a qualified local attorney regarding your issue.
