Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I am starting a company and one person wants to invest $5,000 to be a partner in the organization. He owes the IRS $90,000 for back payroll taxes from just last year. Would any risk be brought to my new company from the IRS debt if he becomes a partner in my new company?

Forgetting the legal risks, and there may be some risk depending on details we don't have, it's mind-boggling that anyone would think of doing any business with someone who doesn't pay that large an amount of back payroll taxes. Plain and simple, run from him.
