Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

I'm not sure what kind of area of law this would go under, but I have a question about something work related. I Pretty much I was working for a company wasn't the best job in the world but it was a paying job. I was looking for a better one so I started to apply, soon I received a call from a company called Rose International and they said they had a position available for me. She said that the position was a temp position and would last 2 months and if after the 2 months the company could pick me up as a regular employee or end the contract. Then even if they chose to end the contract then she could easily put me on another assignment. So I went out on a limb and accepted the employment and quit my job. Everything was fine loved the new job and they liked me also, but we were not as busy as they expected so they let me go after only 2 weeks. Almost 4 weeks later I am still out of work and the company in which I work for keeps giving me the run around and still has not found me a job. This is an out of state staffing agency, so I don't really know what my rights are. Can I claim unemployment since till I can find another job or im I just screwed.

The only way to see if you can claim unemployment is to apply and see. Otherwise,I am not sure what "rights" you think you might have. Should you need to post again, this is not a civil rights issue. There is a category for employment.
