Rights not being read

My husband & I were taken in by sherrif dept because we allowed kids to have a party at our home in the country, we were not read our rights. My husband wasn't given a ticket/citation, what is our legal rights in this matter

It will probably come down to your word against theirs. Get a good criminal defense attorney.
